I am the CEO of VAIS, a Vietnam-based AI startup (founded 2018) that builds core AI engines with a focus on Vietnamese speech recognition. I received my Master’s and PhD from the Augmented Human Communication Laboratory at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan.

My work focuses on AI/ML for speech and language: speech recognition, speech translation, document intelligence, and related topics. I have published at venues including Interspeech, EMNLP, ICASSP, LREC, IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing, and O-COCOSDA.
